The Fix PDP fix Nigeria group, has called on President Bola Tinubu, to sack the Minister of Defense Alhaji Mohammed Badaru, minister of state for defense, Alhaji Bello Matawalle as well as and national security adviser, Alhaji Nuhu Ribadu over the increase in cases of insecurity all over the country.
A statement by Mr. Taiwo ojo, one the group’s coordinators in Lagos State on Thursday said the Fix PDP Fix Nigeria group is miffed by the incessant attacks on the nigerian citizens all over the country.
Ojo said the group is especially bothered over the attack at the Army base in Borno State where some Nigerian soldiers were killed and equipment carted away from the base.
“President Tinubu himself had two weeks back said enough is enough on these attacks. It seems that the NSA and the Ministers of Defense are not doing anything about this presidential order hence our call to have them removed”, the statement said.
The group who called on security agencies to stop playing politics with peoples lives commended the efforts of the Zamfara state government under Governor Dauda Lawal for providing enough materials for the security agencies in the state. On Wednesday, Zamfara State governor handed 140 operational vehicles to security agencies in the state to ensure security remained the government’s priority.
