GLOSHARE OFFERS KWASU STUDENTS FREE EDUCATION MATERIALS, SEAMLESS CONNECTIVITY

Students of Kwara State University (KWASU) are To benefit from a revolutionary platform designed to enhance academic and social connections courtesy of Gloshare and Mobile Community plan just unveiled by Globacom, Nigeria technology company.

The launch took place at the KWASU Campus in Malete, Kwara State, where Globacom introduced a blended learning system, Gloshare, that enables students access educational materials on the school portal without using their data.

Disclosed Mr. Adewale Adiatu, Enterprise South-West Regional head, at the launch: “We also have the closed user group lines, which makes it possible to have everyone in KWASU community on the same platform, where students and staff can interact freely on their CUG lines”.

Mr. Adeniyi Odejobi, Enterprise National Vertical head, Glo Enterprise Sales, equally said at the event that the company had also installed multiple sites on the campus to ensure seamless performance of Gloshare and Mobile Community lines.

Prof. Shaykh Luqman Jimoh, Vice Chancellor of KWASU, hailed the launch as a historic and futuristic moment, emphasising the transformative impact of Gloshare and Mobile Community plan on communication, connectivity, and collaboration among students.

Mallam Abdulafeez Babatunde Kewulere, Students’ Union Government president, expressed gratitude to Globacom for selecting KWASU as the first beneficiary of the Gloshare service.

He encouraged students to leverage these innovative tools to enhance their academic experience and stay ahead in the digital world.
