Filmmaker, Kayode Peters who died last month, will be laid to rest in Toronto, Canada on August 2, 2025.
According to a statement by his family, the burial ceremonies, will take place across three countries.
The statement revealed that the final rites will include nights of tribute on July 22 in Lagos, Nigeria, July 29 in London, United Kingdom and will climax with a funeral service and internment in Toronto, Canada on August 2.
Peters was popularly known in the Nigerian entertainment industry, for some of his movie productions and stage plays.
He recently won the Best Director (International) award for the movie “Survivors” at the 2024 Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival (TINFF).
