NFC, OTHERS SIGN PERFORMANCE BOND AT MINISTRY OF CREATIVE ECONOMY’S 2025 SECTORAL RETREAT

NFC and other MDA’s, including private stakeholders at the 2025 Sectoral Retreat organised by the FMACT&CE, have assured of their commitments towards the implementation and achievement of all projects and programmes objectives through, collaboration/partnerships; effective and timely service delivery.

The retreat took place, Wednesday 20th – Thursday 21st, August 2025 at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja.

The retreat, themed – Strategic Repositioning of Nigeria’s Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy for National Development and Global Competitiveness, had in attendance Barr. Hannatu Musawa (HM,FMACTCE), Dr. Muktar Muhammad MFR,Mni(Perm. Sec FMACTCE), Dist. Senator Mohammed Ogoshi and Hon. Mohammed Muktar of the National Assembly, Chief Executive Officers and Directors of MDA’s, as well as other art, culture and tourism stakeholders.

NFC’s delegation was led by the Managing Director/Chief Executive, Dr. Ali Nuhu.

The objective of the two- day retreat was to, among others, align the Ministry’s strategies with government’s national development priorities, strengthen inter-agency collaboration, develop a performance and implementation framework, identify and deal with key legislative, institutional and financing reforms, and the adoption of a global mission, vision and values to guide the seamless implementation of the Multi-Sectoral Strategic Plan (MSSP 2026-2030).

Highpoint of the retreat was the singing of the Performance Bond between the Hon. Minister, the Perm. Sec and Chief Executive Officers, and Directors of MDA’s, affirming their commitments towards the implementation of (FMACTCE) Ministerial Deliverables.
