THE VOICE ACHIEVERS AWARD SET TO HONOUR AY WITH A PRESTIGIOUS AWARD

Ayo Makun, affectionately known as AY, is widely regarded as Nigeria’s King of Comedy and a prolific actor, renowned for his exceptional talent in making people laugh and his impressive body of work in the entertainment industry is set to be honoured with a prestigious award by a Netherlands based ‘The Voice Achievers award Inc’.

Ayo Makun (AY), the exceptionally talented comedian and actor, is set to be crowned with the prestigious African Entertainment Award 2025 by The Voice Achievers, a renowned Europe-based organization that recognizes outstanding contributions to the entertainment industry and beyond.

The ceremony will take place at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, Nigeria on November 28 2025.  AY is a renowned Nigerian comedian, actor, writer, and producer who has made significant contributions to the entertainment industry.

Ayo Makun, affectionately known as AY, has established himself as a multifaceted entertainer, leaving an indelible mark on Nigeria’s comedy and acting landscape. His stand-up comedy shows, including the immensely popular “AY Live” and “AY Open Mic Challenge”, have consistently delighted audiences, showcasing his exceptional comedic talent and ability to craft relatable, side-splitting narratives.

Although the award has typically been held in Central Europe, it has previously ventured to Nairobi twice, and once each to Dubai and Banjul. This marks its inaugural foray into Nigeria, promising an unforgettable, elegant, and historic celebration that will be the event of the century.
