ELECTRIC SHACK BOSS, CHUCKIE NNEJI LOSES MOM

Chairman of the popular Electric Shack Limited, Chief Chuckie Nneji, Odibo Oha Nkanu II, has announced the passage of his beloved mother, Chief Mrs Monica Chinelo Nneji.

Chief Nneji who announced his mother’s death via a post on his social media page said the sad event occurred on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

Lady Chinelo’s death is coming nine years after her husband, Chief Sampson Nweke Nneji (JP), Odibo–Oha 1 of Nkanu Land died on 10th August 2017 in the United States of America at 82 years.

Chuckie wrote: “With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, I announce the passing of my beloved mother, Chief Mrs. Monica Chinelo Nneji, who peacefully returned to her Creator yesterday.

“She was a pillar of love, strength, and kindness to me, to our family, and to all whose lives she touched. Her memory will forever remain a treasure in our hearts.

“As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the beautiful and impactful life she lived, along with the enduring legacy she leaves behind. I kindly ask that you keep our family in your prayers during this difficult time. Details of the funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course… “

The Nneji’s hail from Akpugo, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State. The late Chief Mrs Chinelo Nneji and her late husband had nine children amongst whom is Mr Chuckie Nneji, the Odibo Oha II of Nkanu land.
