Sir Okey Ahiwe, the Abia State PDP 2023 governorship candidate, has sent a congratulatory message to former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu who marks his 61st birthday anniversary today.
He described the former Governor as one who ‘exemplifies the dominion of a universal mind’. Sir Ahiwe also said that Ikpeazu’s life is a testament of faith, courage, resilience and the legendary capacity to sustain a pedestal far above those struggling within the narrow confines of their own nature and seeking relevance by aiming arrows of attrition against him.
The message reads in full:
“I am immensely glad and grateful to God as I join your family, friends and associates to celebrate your remarkable milestone at 61.
“Your life is a testament of faith, courage, resilience and the legendary capacity to sustain a pedestal far above those struggling within the narrow confines of their own nature, desperately seeking relevance by aiming arrows of attrition against you.
“As a Philosopher-King who has never been entrapped in the tunnel of transition, you have always demonstrated sublime wisdom in your approach to managing power dynamics – teaching a fundamental lesson that the reality of life after power must guide the disposition of anyone entrusted with a mandate that is even more transient than life itself.
“Today, you are at peace, living in perfect harmony with your conscience and sympathizing with the limitations of those who, even as they walk through the paths you created, engage in the delusional fantasy of closing their eyes believing that such indulgence could cause darkness for others.
“You wrote the history of your own future in an open book with records of trans-generational impact which no force on earth can obliterate. You are a rare model in the global crusade for human liberty. Indeed, you exemplify the dominion of a universal mind.
“I am therefore honoured to celebrate not just a day in your life, but your imperial stature as a statesman, super-hero and consummate ambassador of peace whose philosophy of scientific leadership and historic footprints in the advancement of human welfare would remain naturally indelible.”
Sir Ahiwe wished Dr. Ikpeazu a memorable birthday anniversary and prayed that God would continue to bless and protect him in the years ahead.
