The Chief Executive Officer of Rusteve International Limited, a versatile construction company, Mr. Abegunde O. Olamide was on Friday 28 November, 2025 awarded the African Entrepreneurship Excellence Award 2025 by the Netherland-based, The Voice Achievers Award (TVAA), an off-shoot of The Voice News Magazine, Almere, Netherlands.
To bag the award, Mr. Olamide Abegunde, beat very prominent nominees in the business entrepreneurship space in Africa at the event which took place at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos gathering the crème de la crème of the business and diplomatic world in Africa and Europe.

Mr. Olamide Abegunde is a highly accomplished professional in the construction industry with extensive experience spanning several years. He has established himself as a prominent figure known for his expertise in project management and quantity surveying. His career trajectory showcases a consistent progression and an unwavering commitment to excellence in every endeavour he undertakes.
A certified professional Quantity Surveyor, Mr. Abegunde holds membership of prestigious professional bodies including the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and The Project Management Institute, USA. These affiliations underscore his dedication to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and staying abreast of industry’s best practices both locally and internationally.
Mr. Abegunde is a registered Quantity Surveyor with the Quantity Surveyors registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN). He is a Fellow of The Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, a Certified Professional Project Manager, a Certified Professional Risk Manager of The Project Management Institute, USA and a Fellow of National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria.
Reacting to the award presented to him by Ambassador Elvis Iruh, the CEO, The Voice Achievers’ Award, Mr. Abegunde stated that the award is a tonic for him to continue to be the best at whatever he does. He added that given the international nature of the award, he is happy that his professional services are being recognised internationally which according to him, will most definitely impact positively on his business. He therefore, promised to continue to be a thorough-bred professional that he has always been.
The Voice Achievers Award event, sponsored by The Voice Magazine, Almere, The Netherlands, and The Embassy of The Netherlands, was the 14th Edition of the award but held for the first time in Nigeria. Previous editions of the awards were held in The Netherlands, Kenya, The Gambia, The United Arab Emirates, and the next edition has been slated for The United Kingdom in 2026.
