The founder of “Think Cross River” initiative’, Papa Dorn cklaimz Enamhe (DC), has reaffirmed his community’s claim to 119 oil wells, insisting that newly discovered wells and verified coordinates support their position.

Speaking at a public gathering, papa Dorn cklaimz stated that the demand is not a challenge to the Supreme Court but a call for fairness based on fresh findings.

“We are not contesting with the Supreme Court,” he said. “We are simply stating that 119 oil wells discovered belong to us. Coordinates do not lie.”

According to him, while previous disputes referenced 76 wells, new discoveries and emerging facts must now be considered. He maintained that the issue is grounded in verifiable data and urged all parties to allow due recognition of what he described as legitimate ownership.

Papa Dorn Cklaimz Enamhe commended the Governor of Cross River State, Bassey Otu, for what he described as courage and firmness in addressing the matter. He noted that the governor had assured citizens that the state would not relinquish its rightful assets.

He also acknowledged the role of the media, particularly members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, for their continued coverage and engagement on the issue.

Beyond the oil wells discourse, the event also served as a birthday celebration for a respected public figure and former leader within the journalists’ union. Papa Dorn cklaimz described the celebrant as a loyal and dependable comrade who has served diligently in various capacities.

The gathering concluded with expressions of solidarity and renewed calls for unity, justice, and sustained advocacy in protecting the state’s interests.
