All roads lead to Agbarha-Otor, Ughelli North LGA, Delta State as Nigeria’s king of comedy, Ali Baba Atunyota Akpobome and his siblings lay the remains of their beloved mother, Dame Ufuoma Akpobome to rest today, February 20, 2026.
The burial rites of the late renowned teacher, businesswoman, counsellor and philanthropist, began on Wednesday February 18, 2026 with a Service of Songs at the St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Agbarha-Otor.
Late Dame Ufuoma Akpobome will be interred at the homestead of the Akpobomes of the Ovie Royal Family, after a funeral mass at the St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Agbarha-Otor.
The late Dame Salome Ufuoma Akpobome passed on to glory on Friday January 2nd 2026 at the graceful age of 90.
