POPULAR SECOND REPUBLIC POLITICIAN, ARTHUR NZERIBE IS DEAD

Popular second republic politician, Chief Francis Arthur Nzeribe, is dead.

Thebladengr.com gathered that the Oguta, Imo State-born politician and billionaire Businessman died on Sunday, although his family has not released any statement.

Nzeribe, has been battling health issues which kept him away from the public for over seven years.

The late politician became famous when he ran the most expensive senatorial election in 1983, to win a Senatorial seat in Imo State.

Nzeribe is also remembered for heading the Association for Better Nigeria (ABN), a group which backed General Ibrahim Babangida to annul the June 12 1993 election won by late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola.

Ogbuagu Damanze, Senator Francis Arthur Nzeribe, was born on November 2nd, 1938.

He was aged 83 years.
