TOP JOURNALIST PRINCE EMEKA OBASI SURVIVES TOUGH HEALTH CHALLENGE

*TELLS IT ALL IN HIS NEW BOOK “SAVED FOR HIS PRAISE”

Not many know that Abia State born top journalist, publisher and former Commissioner for Information, Prince Emeka Obasi had been battling a debilitating health challenge in the past four years.

The journalist who founded the Zik award for leadership, revealed this last week when he launched a new book, “Saved For His Praise”, on Saturday, August 18, 2019 at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, NIIA, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The book launch attracted the who’s who in Nigerian politics, academia, media and the corporate world, including former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, former Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, billionaire businessman, Dr. Abc Orjiakor and Prof. Anya O. Anya. Others include former Minister of Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullah, Mr. Ernest Ebi of the CBN and the former Managing Director of Diamond Bank, Mr. Emeka Onwuka.

Prince Emeka Obasi, who is the Publisher of Hallmark Newspaper, had the tell-tale of his narrow escape from the ailment as he sported a ventilator piped to his nose, at the event.

The 372-page book, is a chronicle of the author’s battle with a debilitating medical infirmity that defied regular medical treatment and which saw very high-level spiritual intercession for healing by numerous men of God.

There are also glimpses of his life’s struggles, including his battle with immediate and extended family members.
