As you read this, Mr. Ejezie Rollas Emeka, MON, is set to win a fresh two-year term as National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN.
Thebladengr.com gathered that the incumbent president, as at the time of filing this report, has no opponent in the election set to hold in Benin City, Edo State on Tuesday, Nov. 22nd, 2022.
The elections will hold a day after the 2022 Nollywood Actors Summit with the theme: “Impact of Digital Technology on the Acting profession” hosted by the Edo State government at the Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub, Benin City on Monday, November 21st.
According to insiders, only two positions; the National Vice President South-South and the National Treasurer are in hot contention.
While two actors are contesting for the position of National Vice President South-South, three persons-are battling for National Treasurer position.
The 2022 Actors Guild of Nigeria Electoral Committee, AGNEC is led by veteran Steve Ebo, aka Ajebo, as the chairman with Blessing Edwards as the secretary. Other members are Augustine Osadebe, Asabe Madaki, and Moji Oyetayo.
