A former deputy governor of Ekiti State, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi is dead. He was 78.
Egbeyemi, the immediate past deputy governor of between 2018 and 2022, reportedly died around 8pm on Friday after a brief illness.
Egbeyemi’s last public appearance was on February 25, during the presidential and National Assembly election.
A close ally to Egbeyemi disclosed that the former Deputy Governor died at a private hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
