Former Deputy Gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Anambra State, Dozie Ikedife Jnr. as you read this, is in a troubled mode.
Ikedife Jnr. who hails from Otolo Nnewi in Nnewi North Local Government of Anambra State has been accused of killing one of his younger nephews, Master Ifeanyi Ikejemba a native of Akamili Umudim Nnewi.
As the story goes, the deceased, Master Ifeanyi Ikejemba allegedly got a phone call from his uncle Dozie Ikedife Jnr around 9pm on the 1st of March 2020, but never returned alive from the meeting.
It is alleged that the next day, Dozie Ikedife Jnr came to announce the death of Ifeanyi to their relations.
Insiders say Dozie Ikedife Jnr. had accosted the late Ikejemba, alleging that he(Ikejemba), had carnal knowledge of his daughter Onaedo when she was five years old. The incident was said to have happened about fifteen years ago when Ikejemba was fourteen(14).
Some kinsmen of the late Ikejemba allege that on arrival at the Ikedife home, Ikejemba was beaten to pulp by the security personnel, driver and chef of the politician resulting on his death the following morning.
The family of the deceased, further claims that they went to the police station to ascertain where the body of their brother was only to observe that there are several gunshot wound on the on the late Ifeanyi, which had allegedly been sutured by Dozie Ikedife Jnr’s younger brother, Dr Somadina Ikedife.
They family claims strongly that their sibling was a very quiet and helpful brother and that his life was ended in a cruel manner.
The entire Ikejemba family of Akamili Umudim Nnewi is right now united in the call for the Police to unravel the actual circumstances of their late kinsman.
