The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced that 35 persons have died from the coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.
The agency also confirmed 87 new cases of COVID-19 in nine states. This was disclosed on the Twitter handle of the agency on Saturday night.
According to the breakdown, 33 were confirmed in Lagos, 18 in Borno, 12 in Osun, nine in Katsina, four each in Kano and Ekiti, three each in Edo and Bauchi, and one in Imo.
The number of discharged patients increased from 208 to 222, while the number of fatalities increased from 32 to 35.
As at 11:55 pm on April 25, 1,182 confirmed cases of COVID-19 had been reported in Nigeria.
