FORMER LAGOS BIG BOY, MACDEE NSONWU (DO-IT-ALL BOSS) BURIED IN IMO

The remains of erstwhile Lagos big boy and boss of the then popular ‘Do-It-All’ Night Club, the defunct upscale night club located in the Opebi area of Ikeja, Lagos, Chief Macdonald Nsonwu a.k.a Mac Dee, was laid to rest on Friday, January 3, 2025, at his homestead in Alaenyi Ogwa, Mbaitoli LGA, Imo State.

MacDee, who held the title of Uzinakwaoji 1 of Igbo Land, died after a brief illness in November 2024. He was aged 64 years.

MacDee was one of the happening dudes in hospitality industry in the Ikeja area of Lagos between 2003 and 2009 when he sold his lounge cum night club and relocated to Owerri, the Imo State capital.

In the same 2009, he established another hospitality business called 40-40. The place was a one-stop entertainment center which soon drew the attention of the high and mighty.

He was so popular and was at one time made Special Adviser by former Imo State Governor, Chief Ikedi Ohakim.

MacDee also added Zoey Hotel, his legacy establishment in New Owerri, to his chain of hospitality business.
