Hensard University, a burgeoning private institution of higher learning in Toru-Orua, Sagbama, Bayelsa State, has joined the chorus of well-wishers today to celebrate its Chancellor, His Excellency Henry Seriake Dickson, CON, on his 59th birthday.
The university community, including management, staff, and students, in a statement released by the Media/Publicity Office of the institution, praised the Senator’s leadership and vision, attributing much of the university’s recent success to his direction.
Senator Dickson, a prominent figure in Nigerian politics, was Governor of Bayelsa State from 2012 to 2020 and now represents Bayelsa West in the Senate.
His distinguished career as a lawyer and politician preceded his appointment as Chancellor, from which he has actively guided the growth and development of Hensard University.
Professor Dileep Kumar M, the Vice-Chancellor of Hensard University, led the accolades, delivering a heartfelt commendation on behalf of the entire university community.
