WORLD CUP QUALIFIER: NIGERIA BATTLES RWANDA IN KIGALI

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will today in Kigali, face the Amavubi of Rwanda in a bid to revive their chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Nigeria have struggled in their first four group games, having failed to win. They have lost one and drawn three, leaving them in fifth place in Group C.

The Super Eagles will need to win their remaining games starting with a trip to Rwanda to get a chance of qualifying for the next World Cup.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have played against Rwanda seven times in their international meetings.

Nigeria have defeated them twice, have drawn four and lost one. Rwanda got their first victory over Nigeria in the last group game of the AFCON qualifiers, defeating them 2-1 in Uyo.
