MEET JUSTICE CHILE EBOE-OSUJI, NIGERIAN APPOINTED TO THE CARIBBEAN COURT OF JUSTICE

On Tuesday, 15 April 2025, the Honourable Justice Chile Eboe-Osuji of Nigeria took the oath of office as a Judge of the Caribbean Court of Justice. An International Jurist at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law, a Special Advisor to the President’s Office at Toronto Metropolitan University, CANADA.

He is also a Member of the Media Freedom Coalition’s High Level Panel of Legal Experts on Media Freedom.

Justice Chile Eboe-osuji made history by becoming the very first and only black person in the world to be elected as PRESIDENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT (ICC), HAGUE, NETHERLANDS/HOLLAND.

He was the 4th president of the International Criminal Court of Justice, Hague.

Osuji is a Judge and a professor of Law. He presided over the ICC from 2018 to 2021.

Justice Chile Eboe-Osuji is from Anara  Osuh Isiala Mbano LGA Okigwe zone Imo state Nigeria.
