President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has paid a visit to victims of the recent Yelwata attacks who are currently receiving treatment at a medical facility in Benue State.
President Tinubu who was accompanied by top government officials including the Governor of the State Governor Hyacinth Alia and security aides, arrived at the hospital on Wednesday to express solidarity with those injured in the violent assault that rocked the Yelwata community earlier this week.
During the visit, President Tinubu interacted with survivors and hospital staff, assuring them of the federal government’s commitment to ensuring their safety and well-being. He also pledged that the perpetrators would be brought to justice.
The President also directed federal agencies to collaborate with the Benue State Government to provide immediate humanitarian support and bolster security measures in the region.
