President Bola Tinubu, few minutes ago, received the body of late former president Muhammadu Buhari.
The ex-President’s body arrived at the Musa Yar’Adua Airport, Katsina, accompanied by Vice President Kashim Shettima, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, and some family members of the late former president, at about 1:59 pm.
Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State, members of the Katsina State Executive Council, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibril, and other dignitaries were present to receive the remains alongside Buhari’s relatives.
The body was loaded into an ambulance for the former president’s last road trip. Buhari will be interred in Daura, before sundown.
