In its bid of continuos commitment, supporting and empowering Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and as well remain in the best in Africa’s largest food fair, Guaranty Trust Bank has introduced GTCO FOOD & DRINK FESTIVAL – HOLIDAY EDITION which is specially designed to spotlight Africa’s vibrant culinary culture.
The maiden edition of the newly initiative has scheduled for two days, starting from 20th and 21st December, 2025 at GT Centre, Oniru Lagos. The event is expected host about 213 food vendors across Africa and thousands of families as target audiences.
The special edition which will be an unforgettable holiday experiences for families, food lovers and entrepreneurs.
The idea is to build on the success of the annual GTCO Food & Drink – the Africa’s largest food exhibition – through introducing a rich blend of festive activities, global culinary showcases, and expanded SME-focus opportunities.
Its objectives are: Championing Africa culinary arts and showcases global food and drinks experiences; support Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) by providing a world world-class free platform for growth and visibility; strengthen GTCO’s brand positioning as the leading lifestyle brand financial services; drive positive press engagement and deepen emotional connection with our audiences and provide memorable holiday experiences for families, tourists and the wider community.
Speaking at a press briefing ahead of the event, the GTCO Chief Executive Officer, Segun Agbaje, said: “GTCO Food & Drink Festival has grown into a powerful platform for celebrating enterprise, creativity, and the richness of Africa, cuisine. He said the event will featured: “A large amd immersive children’s play area, featuring safe, engaging activities, holiday-themed games, and curated entertainment for kids of all ages. Free exhibition stalls for over 213 food vendors, giving SMEs a high-visibility platform to showcase their offerings. Vibrant streetwear hub: celebrating local fashion and urban culture, with pop-up shops, live demonstrations, and limited-edition drops from top Nigerian designers and DJ Raves featuring two of Nigeria’s most exciting performers, delivering high-energy music experiences for festival-goers.
