*Elder Levi & Deaconess Joy Achoakawa
It was a special Thanksgiving outing on Saturday January 3, 2026, when the Achoakawa siblings celebrated their parents in a two-in one event.
The day was the 80 birthday anniversary of their patriarch, Elder Levi Chikwe Achoakawa. It also coincided with the 50th wedding anniversary of their parents, Elder Levi and Deaconess Joy Achoakawa.
The Thanksgiving event was held at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Onicha Ngwa, Obingwa Local Government area of Abia State.
The Thanksgiving presided over by Pastor Ken Ujor offered opportunities for the children of the couple to thank God for His blessings on their parents and the peace, cohesiveness and progress in their family.
While extolling the sterling qualities of Elder Levi and Deaconess Joy Achoakawa, Pastor Ujor also prayed for continued health of the celebrants as well as unity and progress of the Achoakawa siblings which includes, Elder Chucks Achoakawa, Mr. Chidozie Achoakawa, Mrs. Queen Ucheoma, Dr. Prince Achoakawa and Mr. Frederick Uzondu Achoakawa.
After the Thanksgiving service, guests were treated to a lavish reception at Elder Levi Achoakawa’s compound in Ntigha Onicha Ngwa.
