Veteran Nollywood filmmaker, Victor Eriabie, is dead.
The thespian reportedly died in the morning of 17th February 2026 few months to the burial of his mother who passed in December 2025 and was scheduled to be laid to rest in April 2026.
Eriabie was a leading light in Nollywood in the 90s following the production of his movie series, “Izozo,” a film addressing the issue of women trafficking.
Thebladengr.com gathered that his remains have been moved from Lagos to his hometown, Aghalope in Delta State awaiting burial.
The University of Port Harcourt Theatre Arts product apart from producing films was also an actor, TV host and Radio presenter. His recent acting jobs include Love in Pandemic and Unforgivable. Both films were made in 2023.
