A Cerebral Compere and CEO of a sought after entertainment outfit, Koboko Entertainment, Chief Evans Emesim (Okwumereze Ndigbo) will on Friday, May 1st, 2026 lay his late father, Pa Nwachinemelu Alexander Ikechukwu Emesim to rest.

Aged 84, Pa Emesim is survived by his wife and children: Mrs. Nonye Okonkwo (Ada Zion), Chief Emma Emesim (Onweonwe ya na Ukpor), Mrs. Ifeyinwa Ikejiaku, Hon. Ezenwa Emesim (Ezekwueche), Mrs. Ekpereka Okafor, Mrs. Nkechi Azubogu, and Chief Izuchukwu Emesim (Okwumereze Ndigbo)
Friends and associates of Okwumereze Ndigbo say their thoughts and prayers are with him as he bids his beloved father a grand farewell. They have pledged to fully identify with him during the burial.
A socialite and founder of several social groups and non- profit organisations, including Isi Obi Ndigbo Foundation of Nigeria, Great Ifedimma Club of Nigeria, Akuluno United Brothers Association amomg others, Okwumereze na Ukpor said his beloved father will be sorely missed, describing him as a source of wit and wisdom.
Born on January 7, 1941 to the late Chief Ezeani Richard Ibeaduomu Emesim (Onyejugbokwe) and Mrs. Christiana Emesim, the deceased attended Salvation Army School, Ukpor, completing his Standard Six with distinction.
Equipped with middle level education which Standard six(today’s Basic 6) offered and in search of better opportunities, the late Pa Emesim moved to Nnewi, where he apprenticed under Mr. Okoli Photos of Utuh and became a professional photographer. He later founded Alexco the Cardinal Photos along Nnobi Road, earning respect for his craft.
In 1972, his path crossed that of a damsel, then Eunice Nnunwa Okoye and the result was a sizzling marriage that would produced seven children- now, all successful in their different endeavours. Mrs Emesim (Ochiezeumuagbala) née Okoye) and her darling husband are indeed proud parents of resourceful and successful children.
The late Pa Emesim was passionate about his community hence he served it with tireless devotion, holding multiple leadership positions including Secretary of Ikenga Social Club, Secretary of Ugo Social Club, Chairman of the Bread Sellers’ Community, Chief Security Officer at OMATHA Holdings, Grand Patron of the Ukpor–Nnewi Improvement Union (UIU), Nnewi Branch, and Financial Secretary of his kindred (Umunna) till he breathed his last.
A devoted Christian and faithful member of the Anglican Church, PA Alexander Ikechukwu Emesim passed away peacefully, finding comfort in singing hymns, a lifelong expression of his faith.
Those who knew him and whose lives he positively touched rue that pa Emesim will be fondly remembered for his humility, generosity, and unwavering dedication to family and community.
