KING MONKOM ITASHU CROWNED IN OGOJA

It was unprecedented fun-fare as the people of Ogoja in Cross River State, crowned their new monarch, King Monkom Itashu Ntol Mgbeje Ama 111. The occasion, took place on Saturday, March 24th, 2018, at the Ishibori Playground, Ogoja.

At the event, Gov. Ayade expressed his happiness with the Ishibori Community for their support to his government, revealing that he had already given about 30 appointments to the indigenes of Ishibori Community.

Governor Ben Ayade, who was represented at the occasion by Chief Dr. Dornclaimz Enamhe, SSA Communication and Branding, also made a cash donation of n3million to the newly crowned king.

Also speaking at the event, an indigene and philanthropist, Chief Captain Hart Modey charged the people to unite as a way of fostering development in the area. Modey, who is the md of Capt. Hart Foundation also asked the youths to shun criminality but to be law abiding while preserving their culture.
