For the first time in the women’s world cup, the United States will not be playing in the Quarter Finals of the female mundial. The U.S. was on Sunday, booted out of the ongoing 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup after Sweden defeated them 5-4 on penalties. The game had ended goalless and the extra-time, also produced no goals leading to the penalty shoot out.
