On a day Lagos recorded zero case, Abia and Gombe states joined the list of states with COVID-19 confirmed cases yesterday, April 20th, 2020. Abia and Gombe, recorded two and five cases each as the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, announced 38 new cases on Monday to bring the total number to 665. NCDC said the new cases were recorded in Gombe, Kaduna, Borno, Abia, Federal Capital Territory, Sokoto, and Ekiti. The NCDC made this known via its Twitter handle on Monday.
