EX-MINISTER ADAMU CIROMA DIES AT 84

Former Minister of Finace during the first term of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidency, died in a Turkish hospital in Abuja yesterday after a protracted illness. He was 84. The late Ciroma, also a minister under President Shehu Shagari in the Second Republic, was a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
