Nigerian fashion designer, Alade Vincent, popularly known by his label “Alvince”, has been sentenced to four years and two months for wire fraud estimated at $1.1 million. Alvince was arrested and arraigned before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland on November 3, 2021. He was charged before Magistrate Judge Thomas DiGirolamo for aggravated identity theft and conspiring with others to commit wire fraud.
