Super Eagles captain, William Troost-Ekong, has been named in the squad for the 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda next week. The list released by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and new coach, Bruno Labbadia also includes African Footballer of the Year, Victor Osimhen who last played for the Super Eagles in the final of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) held in Cote d’Ivoire early in the year alongside Ekong.
