The widely acclaimed movie series, ‘Shanty Town’; and two other movies— ‘Herdsmen’ and ‘Underbelly’— featured prominently in the recently released nominees’ list of the Best of Nollywood Awards 2023. ‘Shanty Town’, a crime thriller created by Xavier Ighorodje, Chichi Nworah and produced by Chinenye Nworah, was nominated in 15 of the 29 categories of the awards.
