Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi on Wednesday, won the 2025 CAF Men’s Player of the Year award. His compatriot, Ghizlane Chebbak, also clinched the women’s prize in a ceremony held at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Rabat, Morocco. Hakimi, who is Paris Saint-Germain’s vice-captain and a finalist in the last edition, succeds Ademola Lookman of Nigeria and Atalanta Football of Italy who won it in 2024.
