Senegal’s Sadio Mane was crowned African Player of the Year at the 2022 CAF Awards held in Rabat, Morocco on Thursday. It will be his second after the Senegal and Bayern Munich forward first won the honour in 2019 while he was at Liverpool. On the night, Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala made history by winning the Best Female Player award for the fifth time. Oshoala has won the award in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2022, surpassing her compatriot Perpetua Nkwocha, who has won the awards four times previously.…
