Renowned cultural icon, Jimi Solanke is dead. According to news reaching INDEPENDENT Newspapers, the 82 year old dramatist, folk singer, plawright and poet passed on in the early hours of today, Monday, February 5 after a brief illness. He died en route the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital.
