Dr. Ifekandu Bennett Omalu is a native Of Urunnebo Village, Enugwu Ukwu in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State. Born on September 1st, 1968, he attended both primary and secondary schools in Nigeria. And for his tertiary education he proceeded to the University of Nigeria Nsukka, where he acquired MBBS degree in Medicine and Surgery. He is currently a Professor of medical pathology and laboratory science at the University of California.
