The Inspector-General of police (IGP), Mr. Tunji Disu, has approved the appointment of deputy commissioner of police (DCP) Anthony Okon Placid as the new Force Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force. Placid replaces Benjamin Hundeyin, who was appointed as FPRO in September 2025 by Kayode Egbetokun, immediate past IGP. Hundeyin announced the appointment of Placid in a statement released on Sunday.
