Former Inspector General of Police, IGP Mustapha (Tafa) Balogun, is dead. Balogun died on Thursday, according to family sources. Details of the death of Balogun who became IGP under the administration of President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2002, however, remain sketchy at the moment.
