The Independent National Electoral Commission, has declared the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Usman Ododo, as the Governor-elect of Kogi State. The State Returning Officer, Prof Johnson Urama, who is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics) of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, announced Ododo as the winner on Sunday night. “Ahmed Usman Ododo of APC, having satisfied the requirement of the law is hereby declared the winner and is returned elected,” Urama declared in a room crowded with party agents and election observers.
