The senator representing Cross River North in the National Assembly, Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, has been re-elected for another term. Jarigbe, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, defeated incumbent governor of Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the national Assembly election held on Saturday, February 25, 2023. Jarigbe scored a total of 76,145 against Ayade’s 56,595.
