IPOB LEADER NNAMDI KANU REFUSES TO APPEAR IN COURT; ASKS FG TO OBEY APPEAL COURT RULING

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on Monday, refused to appear before an Abuja Federal High Court insisting that the Federal Government must obey the Court of Appeal judgement of October 13, 2022 which discharged him from terrorism charges. Counsel to the Federal Government, Mr. Mohammed Abubakar, conveyed Kanu’s stance to Justice Binta Nyako. According to Abubakar, all entreaties made to persuade Kanu to have a change of heart were rebuffed.
