Director General of the Peter Obi Campaign Organisation, Dr. Doyin Okupe, on Monday afternoon, paid N13 million fine to escape being imprisoned for two years after he was convicted by the Federal High Court, Abuja. Okupe had been handed a two years prison sentence for a N240 million money laundering offence or a fine of N500,000 fine, after he wasfound guilty in 26 of the 59 counts brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
