Niger Delta Minister, Sen. Godswill Akpabio, has been accused of corruption and receiving payment running into several billions of naira. A group, Global Centre for Good Governance, GCGG, who made the allegations at a press conference in Abuja last week, said Akpabio was hand in gloves with the Interim Management Committee, IMC, of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, in engaging in fraud, looting, pillaging and ransacking of the scarce resources belonging to the Niger Delta region.
