The remains of Prof. Eleazar Uchenna Ikonne, the former Abia State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will be laid to rest on Friday, April 28, 2022. Prof. Ikonne died suddenly at the heat of the 2023 election campaign at the National Hospital Abuja on Wednesday, 25th January 2023 after a brief illness.
