The Lagos State Government has announced a ban on single-use plastics and Styrofoam packs, popularly called ‘takeaways’, with “immediate effect.” The state’s Commissioner, Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.
