Veteran sports journalist, Kayode Tijani, is dead. Tijani died on Wednesday at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH). He was aged 55. Insiders say the top journalist and archivist of Nigerian sports history, has been battling an undisclosed illness since 2019. A family source said the remains of late Tijani will be buried by 2 pm on Thursday at Atan Cemetery in Lagos according to Islamic rites.
