Congratulatory messages have been pouring in torrents for Mazi Jude Nnamdi Nwosu, since he was declared winner of the keenly contested presidency of the prestigious Aba Sports Club 1926 in the election concluded in the early hours of Thursday, November 30th, 2017.
Mazi Jude Nwosu, beat his closest rival, Barr. I.C. Mark to grab the coveted position. He garnered 502 votes, while Barr. Mark got 85 votes in the election held at the club house. By this victory, Mazi Jude Nwosu will succeed Chief Joffrey Uzoagbara as the 64th President of the club and will run its affairs for the next two years.
For those who do not know him, Mazi Jude Nnamdi Nwosu, the Ugwu Aro of Arochukwu, is the Managing Director of wave making Crunchies Fried Chiken Limited, owners of Crunchies Plus and Roots Restaurant with outlets in Aba, Calabar, Uyo, Enugu, Abakaliki, Umuahia, Yenagoa, Asaba, Agbor, Owerri, Awka and Onitsha.
Mazi Jude Nwosu also owns one of Aba’s biggest wine shops, Vivendi as well as the exclusive Vive Lounge located at Eziukwu Aba, which is the hangout of the super big boys in Aba and environs.
