Cross River remains the only coronavirus-free state as Nigeria records a total of 16,658 cases of COVID-19 in 35 states and the FCT.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known while confirming 573 new COVID-19 infections in 19 states and the federal capital territory (FCT) on Monday.
Lagos State maintained the lead as it recorded 216 new cases while Rivers State recorded 103 new cases.

Of the 16,658 confirmed cases, 5,349 have been discharged with 424 deaths so far recorded.
