Nigeria yesterday recorded new 503 COVID-19 patients to move the total number of confirmed cases to 29,879.
Making the announcement last night, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC also revealed that 12,108 persons have recovered and have been discharged while 669 persons have died.
The NCDC also revealed that the 503 new infections were recorded in 20 states and the federal capital territory (FCT).
Lagos State led the table with 153 cases while Ondo State had 73. Edo State placed third with 46 new infections.
